LDAP Password expiry

Adrian Daniels (6312120) | asked Jul 10 '12, 11:58 a.m.
If a user tries to logon to RTC and the password has expired what is the expected behaviour of RTC when configured to use LDAP ?

A customer of mine is asking if RTC could pop up a box to allow the resetting of the password, i.e. type in the existing one and the new one? Is it even possible for an application to communicate with LDAP to do that ?

For me that would be a security hole - but not being that close to LDAP, hence asking in this forum.

If the password has expired the user would probably get an invalid username or password error when logging in.

There is no way to change your password on LDAP from the RTC interface.
