Hi All,
I want to trigger a approval for the workitem to predefined users programatically. This needs to trigger when the workitem is in a particular state alone - for eg: when status is "in progress". How can this be done?

Thanks.

Are you asking to be able to automatically change the approval state of a work item when a certain user moves the work item into a new workflow state? e.g. when Bob completes a work item an existing approval for that work item is also marked as approved.

Hi Daniel,
                  My requirement is:

I have to create a new approval item with certain pre-defined approvers (or) picking values from workitem fields. This item has to be approved before further states can proceed - I am implementing this condition using available pre-conditions.

Thanks,
Valli.
