RTC 301.x used.

When there is conflict in change set and user merged the conflict. If then they want to discard/reverse the merged changeset, it will always complain there is merge hence unable to discard it. How to discard/reverse merged change set? or it does not allow the user to discard when merge is involved? Thank you very much.

A note on terminology: "reverse" usually refers to a new change set that effectively undoes the changes made by another change set. I suspect you just want to talk about "discard" for this question.

That error will only be given if the user is trying to discard the merge. If the user discards both the merge and the change set that caused the conflict then the discard will succeed.

Thank Evan for the info.

As per https://jazz.net/library/article/126#How_do_I_remove_a_change_set_fro, it the merge has been delivered, then it requires a Reverse to remove merged change set.
