Confirm RAM 7511 software requirement
When we install RAM 7511, follow its system requirement like following URL:
http://www-304.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg27023013 But we found it not match the version with suggest in RAM setup page: In Website suggest using 6.1.0.35 and future Fix Packs, but in 7511 setup page it will show error: Upgrade your Websphere v61 to Fix Pack 6.1.0.41. Is that means the version show in system requirement page not correct, we should follow RAM setup page instruction to upgrade WAS? |

http://www-304.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg27024226 Though, I see no changes as far as AppServer. To answer your question Yes, you should follow the RAM setup page instruction. Our FVT/SVT testing was done with 6.1.0.41, this is not to say that RAM does not work with 6.1.0.35 there is no known bug. The message is a warning in server setup which means you can proceed without applying the fixpack. Ideally, it would be best to perform new installs on WAS 7 as WAS 6.1 is going out of service in Fall 2012 Rich Kulp selected this answer as the correct answer
