Create workitem template with required attribute no set

Michael Lee (622) | asked May 16 '12, 2:49 p.m.
Hello,

I've created a workitem template with one required attribute, but I need this attribute empty on creation, and when I create this workitem by this template, the RTC didn't create it because the attribute is required.

What can I do to create the workitem?

The attribute precondition(s) (e.g., required attribute) also applies when creating work items from a template.

To create the work item without such rule (required) and therefore being able to create the work item, you might need to remove its precondition. Just have on mind that removing such precondition will apply to any new work item.
