Reviewers Removed with New Asset Versions?

It seems that when a new version of an asset is created that the new version does not inherit the reviewers from the previous version.

Is there any way to enable this to happen? It causes a lot of re-work having to add the same reviewers every time a new version of an asset is created.

A new version is treated as a new asset. So it uses whatever the current community configuration provides and creates a new lifecycle based on that. The asset configuration of the lifecycle is only at the asset level and is not duplicated on a create.
