I think I should modify the process xml directly in Eclipse client? But is there any way to modify it by API?

I don't think we support add operation pre-condition via API. Why do you need this kind of API?
You should be able to add operation pre-condition through the UI instead of modify process configuration spec directly.

You should be able to add operation pre-condition through the UI instead of modify process configuration spec directly.

So many role and condition need to config, so plan to batch deal with it...
As you said, I can only update the xml.
