Sandro Bortolini (1111) | asked Feb 23 '12, 2:36 p.m.
Hi,

How I can remove plans was created under RTC in the past as testing from other PM and that is not used anymore.

Also I would like to know how I can rename a plan name.

Tks.

Yes, you can both delete and rename plans, in both the WebUI and the
Eclipse UI, using the standard gestures. To rename a plan, you would
type in a new string in the title field of the plan, and select "save".

Cheers,
Geoff

If you look at a list of plans in the web UI, for example the "All Plans" list, there is an Actions column. When you hover over that plan row, an X is shown that enables a "Delete Plan" operation. Click that and the plan will go away.

To rename the plan, open it in the web UI. Click on the name at the top of the plan and it will change to be editable. Make your changes and click Save.

Hi,

Ok, I did it. So it was not reflected at Eclipse UI.
How I can deleted there, same way I did at Web UI?

Tks.

Right click on the Plans node in the Team Artifacts view and select Refresh.

(That's my guess. I haven't actually tried it since I don't have any
plans handy that I want to delete. But it seems like the obvious
gesture to tell the Eclipse client to refresh from the server.)

If you want to actually delete the plan from the Eclipse UI rather than
from the web UI, right click on the plan itself in the Team Artifacts
view and select Delete.

I am using Eclipse (Linux)
Version: 4.0.3
Build id: RTC-I20130517-1856

There is no way to delete plans and/or work items in Team Artifacts or any where else. All I see is new, refresh and properties (menu items.)

I am extremely surprised at the poor quality of Rational Team Concert.
I am able to do much more in simple text!
I use emacs org-mode, and performing this project organization is much easier.
