You can do this in the Eclipse UI, using the "duplicate" function. I
don't believe this is available in the Web UI yet.

Thanks for your reply. I may not describe my question clearly. My question is how to use Work Item API in the back-end service to copy a work item as a new one in the same project area ?

You can do this in the Eclipse UI, using the "duplicate" function. I
don't believe this is available in the Web UI yet.
