Repository admin group permission requests

iRAM Administrator (3152156135) | asked Jan 12 '12, 7:45 a.m.
Sometimes we use to get some vague permission requests in iRAM. The body of the email use to have the following text :
"abc requests a permission update for the community Repository Admin Group."
When we open the current tasks it directs us to the page with "Repository Admin Group" community which actually don't exists. It simply have users who are Rep admins.

Please clarify this behavior and help us in knowing that by what action of users these type of requests generate.

Thanks.....Payal.

Hi,

That's an internal group for internal functions.

Normally nothing from this group should be showing up in a search, so I
don't know how someone is getting a link to something in that group.
Since there should never be anything referencing that group showing up
to a user we've never put in any special code in on the "Request
Permissions" page to prevent this from being requested.

You should reject such requests since that group is not for users.
