Control Access to attributes base on role?

Terry Kemp (351012) | asked Dec 22 '11, 10:25 a.m.
Is there anyway to control visibility of certain attributes based on role or some other means? We're wanting certain members of the team to be able to submit enhancement requests, but not have access to some of the more planning attributes around those enhancements.

Although it's not controlling visibility, it does look like you can control the ability to restrict access for modifying certain attributes based on role.

Under Team Configuration -> Permissions -> Work Items -> Save Work Item (server) -> Modify the work item. There is a list of each of the attributes and the ability to set permission for each role.

Is this what you were looking for?

JAZZ DEVELOPER
This is not supported currently. Please open an Enhancement Request and set Filed Against to "Work Items".

Thanks,
