How to tie an artifact to a fix period?

It should be possible to create artifacts with fixed start and end date. This could be convenient to integrate events like conference participations, maintenance activities and the like.

Hi Markus,

as soon as we'll have the work time management in place, you could use
(the new, yet to implement) out of office items. They should be visible
and include a title, therefore allowing you to reserve time for eg a
conference participation in your plan.
Maintenance activities, on the other hand, could be covered by being a
part time member on maintenance team (this "part time membership" too is
not implemented yet)

Would this help to resolve your requirements?

Cheers,

Hallo Michael,

I have the feeling that the planned implementation described by you will solve our needs.
Related to the out of office item I have one question is it as the handling today a full day booking or is it possible to have a hourly time allocation too?

Related to maintenance activities I hope that it is possible to plan these activities for weekends too.

I am looking forward to test the new functionality.

Thanks for the information and kind regards, Markus
