How to handle Shared/Part-time Resources?

Markus Schille (7611) | asked Jul 05 '07, 6:08 a.m.
For shared or part-time resources, there should be a possibility to define an availability percentage for each team the user is participating in. In the time-boxing view, the length of the item boxes should visualize the days the assigned resource will need for this task.
For example, an item that is estimated with 2 days of work should be shown as 4 implementation days, if assigned to a resource that is available only 50% for the specific team.

Hi Markus,

it is planned to address this issue when we implement the work time
management as described in https://jazz.net/forums/viewtopic.php?t=164.
We intend to implement a solution just the way you described it.

Thanks,
MikeS

Hallo Michael,

sound to me that we should follow-up the planning of preallocated time via https://jazz.net/forums/viewtopic.php?t=164.

Thanks for the information and kind regards, Markus
