Only fraction of assets available in RAM

Hi,

We are having a issue in one of our RAM instances.

RAM V7.1.1 - iFix 1
WAS 6.1.0.29
AIX 5.3

Every now and then we see only a fraction of assets. For example - The repository has over 17000 assets but today RAM was showing only 190 assets. Every time we do the reindexing and the issue is resolved for few days. I do not see any thing reported in the logs that the reindexing failed.

Does any one has a resolution for this?

Thanks.

Make sure to get "All Support Logs" and check out: indexJobServerSystemOutLog.txt

Of more interest would be ramJobServerDebug.log

The indexJobServerSystemOutLog.txt just lists when the job server was
started and stopped.

This issue has been resolved in the latest version of RAM. Please upgrade your server. In 7.1.1, check for heap dumps under your WAS profiles/AppSrvr01/logs folder. If you see any, you should increase the remote process heap size by navigating to Administration -> Configuration and changing the 'Remote Process Maximum heap size in megabytes:' to at least 768 and possibly 1024 or higher.
