How to handle SocketTimeoutException during bulk deliver

Vinod Kumar (9612010) | asked Oct 12 '11, 3:08 a.m.
I'm working on an import tool which imports SCM data from a third party repository (CMVC) to RTC. This tool extracts historical data from the repository and deliver it to RTC and thus can have huge data delivered at a time. Sometimes I get the following exception during this bulk import.

CRJAZ0099I When accessing the URL "https://rtcserver:9443/ccm/service/" the following HTTP error occurred: ""

I'm using following code snippet to deliver the code
IDeliverOperation deliverOp = IOperationFactory.instance.getDeliverOperation(null);

deliverOp.deliver(wsConnection, streamConnection, report);;

Please let me know how to handle this scenario when tool is continuously delivering data from workspace (for each baseline from 3rd party repository) to the target steam and I encounter this SocketTimeoutException problem.
