Restrict access to Dashboard

Steven Melcher (6012831) | asked Sep 06 '11, 4:48 p.m.
In RTC 2.0.0.2, is it possible to make a Dashboard that is only shared with users of a specific user name or a specific role?

In RTC 2.0.0.2, it was only possible to define Dashboard access control on a per-project basis. Dashboards could be shared with everybody, nobody, or members of specific projects.

In RTC 3.0.1, this has been scaled back even more. Dashboards are now either shared with everyone or not shared at all.

At this time, we aren't certain what will happen in 3.5, but there may be some changes here. See the following work item:

176919: Allow edit permissions on shared dashboards

If you want to see access control for dashboards at the user level, feel free to comment on that work item or file a new one.
