RTC 3.0 steps for the Next release in Project
Hi All,
I am using RTC v3.0. We want to start on our next release and wanted to know what will be the kind of changes needed in RTC for the project area. May I know the list of things to do in RTC as our project is used for Project Tracking only? Your quick reply is highly appreciated. Thanks in Advance. |

All you have to do is create a new Iteration in the Timeline of your
project area for your new release. If you do planning at a finer grain than the entire release, you'll also want to create a new sub-iteration in that iteration, for your finer-grained planning. Once you have those iteration, you can create plans for each of your teams for the next iteration. You can optionally add a new entry for that release in your "Releases" tab, but since that is primarily used to populate the "Found In" pick list, there's no immediate need to create that entry (mostly of use when you have actually delivered that release, and want to register defects as having been "Found In" that release.
