Links to work items in feeds broken in RC4?

Hi.
When reading the standard event feed in Team Central's Event Log and
double-clicking on event that reports on a work item change it used to open
the work item directly in its editor in Beta3 and before. Now in RC4 it
tries to open the url https://localhost:9443/jazz and prompts me for the
password. However, our server is running on a different machine, of course.
Is this a know issue in RC4?

Peter.

Hi Peter,

could you check if you specified com.ibm.team.repository.server.webapp.url in the teamserver.properties configuration file for the server?

Thanks,
Ben

Hello Ben.
No, I do not find that entry in the file. What do I need to do?

Thanks and best regards,
Peter.

My theory is that the server uses the wrong URL when creating the entries for the news you see. It should not use localhost at all, but rather the public URI of the server. When com.ibm.team.repository.server.webapp.url is set to this value, the feed entries should have the right value and you will be able again to open the news inside RTC. E.g. for jazz this value would be http://jazz.net/jazz.
