Trial license enabling

Hello.
I'm trying to install RAM 7.5.0.2 for evaluation. According to download page installation includes 60 days trial license which is fine for me.
There are no any hints how to enable (use) this license during installation. The only hint I found here, mentione that License server should be empty to enable trial license: https://jazz.net/forums/viewtopic.php?t=10358&highlight=trial

But the problem is that configuration manager does not allow me to left license server field emty. I've got error "CRRAM2006E - The license is invalid. For more information, see the Rational Asset Manager help system" and can not proceed with installation

Could somebody provide any instructions/hints how to install RAM with trial license?
Thanks in advance.

Can you activate the logs section from Server setup
Right hand top of the screen,
Tools - View hide log

Then test the license section

grab whatever is in the logs section and paste it here.

if there is nothing useful there, there is also a download all logs. we might need that if the logs section does not reveal anything.

as a last ditch suggestion,
you can try is entering 27000@valid_host_name in RAM server setup,
This will allow you to proceed through setup , However
when you use RAM ,you need to go to the RAM configuration page (Administration > Configuration)
License section
and restore the trial license key. However bear in mind at that point of time, if there is any problem in your trial key it will show up again.

I'm going to have to turn you over to the Server Setup guy. I don't know
that part of the code.

It shouldn't of. The license part is not database specific.

Hello
Thank you for reply.
It is a new installation. I'm using Oracle DB, not a DB2. Before installing I've recreated DB objects once again (executed scripts provided with RAM installation for Oracle DB setup) to ensure that DB objects are recreated.

RAM Configuration Tools shows that license server is empty. But I can not skip it (leave it blank). So, I can not finish RAM post-install configuration wtithout License Server

I'm installing using IBM Installation Manager (in fact, started from launch.sh in RAM install archive).

Whould it be possible that Oracle DB causes an issue?

Hi,

Is this a brand new installation? The included default trial license is
only available for a brand new database.

When you install do not point to a License Server. It will automatically
have the trial license with out a license server. If you point to a
server you will wipe it out. But if you did point to a server then for
7502 brand new installation on the Configuration page below the license
server line there should be a link or button or something like that
which will restore the trial license if it is within 60 days of the
installation.

How you are installing? Using Server Setup or by hand?
