CLM Data Warehouse with Insight

Jared Russell (1.3k12019) | asked Jun 17 '11, 11:00 a.m.
I've been reading through the documentation on upgrading from the CLM DW/RRDI to Insight and have a couple of questions:

1: After upgrading from RRDI to Insight and disabling the CLM ETL process, is the CLM DW still used, or does everything move to the Insight DW?

2: After upgrading from RRDI are the built-in RRDI metadata model and reports still usable, or do the FM model and reports you import from CLM completely replace the RRDI versions?

Thanks

You should configure Insight to now use your CLM DW. Or if you had data
already in the Insight DW then run the jts/setup one more time and go to
the DW setup page. There enter the details for the Insight DW and the
setup will add the additional CLM tables to your Insight DW. If you had
data in both DW then unfortunately there is no way of merging them. You
need to then make a decision which one to drop.

The CLM DW schema and the FM Model are supersets of the Insight 1.0.1.1
schema and model. If you want to use CLM with Insight you need to use
the CLM DW schema (see above for how to upgrade) as well the the CLM FM
Model (provided as download in the jts/admin > Reports > Downloads page).

Thanks

Hope this helps and best regards,
