Jazz System Requirements - Linux (and AIX?)
Hi, all. First time poster here.
We are looking to install Jazz server and I have a few questions regarind what operating system and hardware is supported by Jazz. 1) Does Jazz server work on both PowerPC and Intel based Red Hat Linux? All system requirements I've read just state Red Hat Linux. 2) It's stated that Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5.0 Update 1 is required for Jazz server, but does anyone know if it will run on Red Hat 4? 3) Are there any plans or will it run on AIX at all? If so, what version? Thanks in advance for any assistance. Chris |

I was hoping when RTC went GA that there would be an AIX server version. I was disappointed to not find one. Am I looking in the wrong place or is it true there is no AIX version?
I saw another post that mentioned a wiki that described how to install on AIX but I can't find this wiki. Can someone publish the url or the wiki or point me to an AIX install of RTC server. Thaks in advance. |
Chris, it will run on AIX.
I have RC4 running on two AIX servers right now. There's another thread on this topic. I'll be updating the WikiCentral Eclipse wiki this morning with better instructions for running on AIX.
