Anybody got any ideas how to get passed the "database configuation" .. I have asked to let the custom reporting install a new WAS instance etc but it fails to validate the DB2 user and password, despite the fact that I have logged in to DB2 with the same values.

Hello.
There were some issues with special characters in the db2admin password.
I had problems with "=" and "#" in the password. Did you try changing
the password? In the latest CLM 3.0.1 release the scripts for the DB
creation and the installer got improved to support passwords with such
characters.
