[closed] Jazz Workshop - problem with end game process

I am running through the Workshop materials and in "End Game and a Tightened Process" I cannot make my delivery fail. I have version M6a Team Concert but the Process Configuration for the Project Area is a full featured editor instead of the XML window (GUI is very cool, BTW). The workshop text runs through the XML process description but I do not see how to open in this TC version. I don't see how to open the old XML process file from the GUI. There's no 'XML' tab at the bottom of the editor or an 'XML' button.

I'd rather learn the GUI anyway, so in that GUI editor I drill into the development lines for M2/End game Permissions and they are identical to M2/Development Permissions - contributor can 'Deliver (server)' but teamlead and default cannot. I expected the M2/End game to be different based onthe workshop description. So I try removing permissions for contributor to 'Deliver (server)' and it still lets me deliver. I've tried a variety of changing my roles and disabling the deliver permission all the way up the process chain with no luck. Am I missing something?

Any guidance would be appreciated.

Many thanks.

The process change is just for the Core Library team and can be found in

the Core Library team area. There is no customization for the M2 end
game in the Squawk project area.

Also, which level of Team Concert code are you using? If it is RC2, RC3
or beta 3, the permissions are not enforced unless you are using the
Standard edition. We are working on a beta 3 update to the workshop
where, among other updates and changes, we will use a behavior change to
require work item approval rather than a permission change in this
exercise. The behavior change will work in all editions.

Thanks for the reply Steve. I tried several versions and they all failed except JazzTeamServer-0.6M6a.zip. I am not sure if that is RCx or beta3. Unzipping the repository files in other versions was in my experience problematic. Which versions should I be able to use? I tried the latest Jazz server and had problems loading the workshop repository in it. Should the workshop repository work with the latest standard version?

On the workshop page the download content specifically cites the version
of Team Concert that it was designed for. The issue you encountered was
failing on a version of M5 due to a bug in RTC that was subsequently
fixed in M6. I am in the process of publishing the beta 3 version of the
workshop which as Steve states has replaced that particular exercise
with new one that we think is a more realistic scenario and works on all
product editions.
