How enable "doAuthentication" in a Java client?

Fredrik Attebrant (1133) | asked May 05 '11, 9:13 a.m.
Hi,

I'm running the Snippet1.java example with from RTC-Client-plainJavaLib-3.0iFix1.zip and I'm getting the following message:

Contacting https://localhost:9443/ccm/...
May 5, 2011 2:19:08 PM org.apache.commons.httpclient.HttpMethodDirector isAuthenticationNeeded
INFO: Authentication requested but doAuthentication is disabled

Connected

How can I enable "doAuthentication"?

The goal is to implement this in an RCP-application allowing it to login and access work items on an RTC3 CCM server.

All help appreciated!

Any luck with this? I'm running into the same problem! Did you figure out how to fix it?

Thanks,

Fredrik asked this in a work item too: 165378: Login with RTC 3 Java API reports "isAuthenticationNeeded", but still waiting on a response. I've pinged.

We see this often too when running JBE. It can be safely ignored, but it is annoying, adding clutter to the logs.
