Backward Compatibility issues

I am associated with two different projects. One is using an RTC 2 server, the other is using RTC 3.0. I have installed the RTC 3 eclipse client and now I can't access my RTC 2 server. Please help.

This would be normal .. RTC 3 client can only talk to a 3 server, and a 2 client only a 2 server. However, you can have both clients installed on the same machine (i do currently) or can use the web client to access both.

Hi Susan - how did you manage to install two clients. When I tried to install the 3 client it stopped and told me I had to uninstall 2 first.

Morning Kay - I recommend you install the "zipped" version of the RTC 2 client. Get the zipped client from the RTC 2 downloads pages, and unzip into a new directory. Leave your 3.0 client as it is.

Using Installation Manager, you should also be able to install the second client in a different package I think.
