Hi everyone!

I've just installed IBM Jazz Team Server and Team Concert on my PC, on local machine everything works fine but I have problem with connection from other computers. During installation I set the path to repozytory as a
https://localmachine:9443/ccm (also: https://127.0.0.1:9443/ccm) , now - my PC is in the lan network with IP 192.168.1.101. When I'm trying to connect via browser like 192.168.1.101:9443/ccm it doesn't work :( but I can ping server (ping 192.168.1.101). So now my question is, how to make server "visible" to other computer in network ? I was trying to change something in TOMCAT, but I couldn'y log on , ADMIN/ADMIN login/pass doesn't work and login which i set during installation neither (even that is working to loggin at /jts .

I would be thankfull for help.

Hi

You should be able to see your machine using the IP address. You need to check any firewall software in case the port (9443) is being blocked. This would explain why ping works, but accessing via https does not work. Also - double-check you are using https and not http by accident.

If you plan to use your server remotely, this is would be advisable to use a fully-qualified name (like myserver.ibm.com) that is visible via DNS. This prevents problems when you have a non-fixed IP address.

If the firewall suggestion does not work, let us know here and we can try some other ideas. Also - let us know what OS you are using (client and server).

anthony
