Hi,

We are using RTC 2.0.0.2 iFix4.
Is it possible to use the Jazz ant build tasks from RTC 3.0 without upgrading the whole RTC?

Thank you,
Borra.

Hi Borra,

What are the use cases that you're trying to perform with the ant build tasks?

Hi Brent,

I'm trying to use the ant fetch task because you can create folders for components which was not available in R2.0.0.2.

Hi Borra,

That's not really a supported configuration due to the tight coupling between the client APIs used and the server. However, the enhancement request that added the createFoldersForComponents option to the teamFetch task has a workaround that might work for you.

As a workaround, you can put your build script into a separate component, load only that one in the build definition (configure the build definition to exclude all other components from the load), then use the SCM CLI from your build script to load the rest, using the options you want.
