Work Item Access Restriction feature does not work with LDAP

Mohan K M (1111511) | asked Jan 25 '11, 5:15 a.m.
Hi All,
Am using RTC v3.0 and building a process flow. As part of this I would need to restrict read access of couple of work items to few members only. To achieve this Am using the Work Item Access Restriction feature introduced in Rational Team Concert 3.0.

Followed the steps given article: http://jazz.net/library/article/554/

I could see this feature working perfectly fine with The JAZZ user Registry; But the same is not taking effect when I changed it to use LDAP user registry. Is there any additional configuration I might need to do when used LDAP User Registry. Any pointers in this direction would be of great help. Thanks

Cheers,
Mohan.

Dear All,
Managed to get this working with LDAP; access restriction was not getting enforced on the IDs I used before, could be because both of them had JazzAdmin privileges. It started working perfectly fine after I created few more normal user IDs without admin privileges.

Can somebody from Jazz Dev confirm that access restriction would not be applicable for JazzAdmin privileged users (I guess, thats how it should be)

Thanks,
Mohan.
