Hi,

At this time we do not have pending working with lifecycles. We have an
work item for the next release to activate it for lifecycles but there
is some discussion locally as to it not being very useful, and being
confusing, so maybe we wouldn't do it.

It would be helpful to us to find out what about it that customers like
so that we can make a decision.

Hi,

RAM is not doing anything with cache control cookies for those pages.
They are all controlled by the browser. I use Firefox 3.6.13 myself and
do not have that problem with iRAM. I just tried it.

Could this user have a proxy cache server between him and iRAM?

Rich,
This particular user used Mozila v 3.6.13
and IE 6.0.2900.5512.xpsp_sp3_grd.080814-1236 Browsers.

Thank you.

None of the pages in RAM should be cached. They should all be refreshed
every time you go to them.

I just tried it on w3-03 iRAM and there was no problem adding the tag.
It showed up immediately with the .

What browser are the people using that are having this problem? I'm
using Firefox. Nor did I have a problem with ie7

Hi Rich,
Thank you for your kind reply.

After enter Tag Name, user clicks Add button, iRAM page get refreshed, but it is NOT displayed new Tag name with cross Mark.

But, the new Tag added successfully, after clear cookies, cache, downloaded files from users browser.

Similarly many other functionalities work fine after clear cookies, cache, etc., from the users browser.
Hence, we would like to know our iRAM cookies and cache management mechanism and Please share with us, if any steps (or) guidelines to the iRAM users for eradicating this browser cleanup procedure.

Hi,

If I understand what you are asking, then Asset Tags have nothing to do
with the browser, cookies, cache, etc. They are words that are used as
an ad-hoc classification of an asset by a user. They are just strings
that we keep in a database that we associate with an asset in RAM
itself. Any user can then use a tag (a string is all it is) to find
assets that anyone had "tagged" with that string.
