Work Item creation with REST

I use the same code to create work items in RTC 3 which I used successfully in v2. But now I get an error 409, Conflict. Is there anything I hav to do to adapt my code to RTC 3, has anything changed in the REST-access?

I found it myself: it seems that the the project area in not in the list of the categories anymore. I used the project area as a default category for the filedAgainst attribute.
As a workaround I now simply remove the filedAgainst from the preconditions. Anyone has a better idea?
