Sometimes our floating license server coughs and leases don't get cleaned up which prevents
subsequent use. Restarting the license server takes care of those but is there a way to punch out the few that need to be released ? I'm comfortable with DB2 if that's what it takes.

I know that one can remove a license acquired from the Admin page, but these don't appear
on any list but the "Issued Leases" on the license server.

Thanks,

Kevin

Thank you. We still have the license leased issue. We are in touch in IBM to get a solution for it.

Hi,

Even we have a similar issue. Can you tell me how do your release a license from the Admin page?

Pavithra

If you're asking about a license server client, go to the Admin page/User Adminstration. Click on Acquired Floating Licenses. Mouse over the license
you'd like to delete at the far right of the License column an X will appear.

Click that and you can delete 1 license. But if I recall, you can only delete
1 license / hour. The ones I describe cannot be deleted this way.
