Skin (look and feel) of Jazz

Jeldert Pol (7611) | asked Apr 09 '08, 7:16 a.m.
I've got a problem with the skin (look and feel) Jazz uses in Eclipse. The menu's are white, with black text. When hovered, they highlight in light gray, with white text. This is unreadable.

Also, this is different from my system settings (using Linux). Menu's look the same in all applications, except for Jazz.

A normal Eclipse does use the system settings, and so the items in a menu are readable.

Is there any way to change this? The Appearance settings between Jazz and a normal Eclipse match, so it must be somewhere else.

BTW, I use TeamConcert-1.0M6-linux-gtk.tar.gz, because I don't have installation priveleges.

This won't solve your issue with the text on Linux but I wanted to point
out that you don't need to be an admin user to use the installer on
linux. You can launch the install program with the "-isAdmin" option
and it will choose a location for the shared files, etc... that is a
subdirectory of your home directory.

There is a WorkItem open that text on Linux in RTC can barely be seen. Please look at:

You can subscribe to the WI so you get informed when the WI changes.
