Test Data - Dynamic and Static Data

manoj samuel (2611) | asked Sep 20 '10, 3:52 a.m.
We do manual testing for our project and use the import utility tool for exporting test cases, scripts into RQM. All works fine so far.
There is new development/requirement is using test data for testing and my query is around this -
We would like to associate test data at a test case and test script level.
1, Various scripts linked to the single test case should be able use the test data. This data should be an input/text entry option, so that the tester should be able to enter data once executed. e.g. order ID/name for order entered.
This we define as dynamic data.
2, Another script that that will execute under the same test case, should be able to access this test data to - use the data captured and also enter new data.
Could anyone let me know how this can be done and at what level.
