Support for EFS managed resources in the SCM

Nicolas Dangeville (31632425) | asked Mar 21 '08, 12:08 p.m.

Can the Jazz SCM manage projects which resources are managed with a remote
file system implementation through the use of EFS ? The SCM And Filesystem
Design Documentation seems to imply that EFS is supported in the Eclipse
layer, but when we try to commit a project with linked resources we have an
error saying that linked resources are not permitted.

Is it possible to store EFS managed resources in Jazz ? If not, is that
something planned ? Is there something special to do to make it work ?

Thanks,

Nicolas

Linked resources are currently not supported. Otherwise I believe it
should be possible to use projects located on another EFS fs, although I
haven't tested it.
