Where scm repair command is useful?

There is repair command in scm tool.
scm help says that it repairs corrupted workspace.
Could you tell me which exactly files it can repair?
When exactly this command can be useful?

It modifies the Jazz metadata stored in the root of the corrupted sandbox.

When exactly this command can be useful?


After a workspace has been corrupted. You'll know when that happens when you run 'scm status' and the string "Workspace is corrupted" (or something to that effect) is included in the output.
