Move a single Project

My customer would like to be able to move a single project from one Jazz server to another. I am aware that this is currently not supported but wondered if it was planned for Version 3.

Thanks

Sally,

if you don't have any project on the server you want to move to this is possible. You can't get rid of the old data in the old repository and you can't add a project to an existing server with projects. I think there are issues with the links if the project references others and vice verso.

In a nutshell you duplicate the repository and move it from one server to another. On the source server you archive the project you moved. On the other server you archive all other projects.

There have been detailed posts here in this forum.

I know the capability you request was discussed for 3.0. You'd need to check the plan to find more current information.

No, unfortunately we were not able to contain that feature in the 3.0
release ... but it is a very high priority item in the backlog for
post-3.0 planning.

Cheers,
Geoff
