Modify the test environment in the TER?

I need help with the following customer scenario:
A customer uses different types of instruments in testing (like analyzers, o-scopes etc), and they have several instruments of all types.
For each single execution result log they need to include the specific instruments used, incl serialnumbers.
What specific instrument is used depends on availability and calibration dates and is unknown when the TER is created.

I have tried to add the instruments in the test plan environment, but it is not user-friendly, and not fit for this purpose.
I cannot find how to add specific searchable info in the result log, is it possible to a add a pre-populated list to use when execution is completed?
I need to show a RQM report that shows all the test results based on a specific instrument, in case the calibration failed. This is a FDA regulatory requirement, and the customer will not buy unless we can show this in a demo.

Please upgrade to the latest version of RQM (see https://jazz.net/downloads/rational-quality-manager/) and review the product documentation (see https://jazz.net/help-dev/clm/topic/com.ibm.help.common.jazz.calm.doc/com.ibm.help.common.jazz.calm.doc_eclipse-gentopic1.html) and jazz.net resources (see https://jazz.net/help).  If your issue persists, please ask a new question (https://jazz.net/forum/questions/ask), open a defect (see https://jazz.net/mystuff/#tab=workitems), or open a PMR (see http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg21507639).
