API javadoc

Luk Stephenson (51111) | asked Apr 26 '10, 5:30 a.m.
I've downloaded the RTC Build System Toolkit as I wish to do some development using the API. I have looked on jazz.net and can't find any javadoc API reference. Anyone know where I can find it.

The class in particular that I'm looking for the javadoc for currently is com.ibm.team.build.internal.scm.SourceControlUtility.

Anyone else struggling to find valuable documentation on jazz.net?

When it appears in the next few days, the 'all downloads' page for 3.0.1.2 will contain a link to a zip for Javadoc.
See 187355: Ensure javadoc zip is in sync with the detailed list of APIs for 3.0.1.2 for details.

are you sure the link isnt working for you?
it is working fine for me. and i tried the link in chrome and mozilla just in case. does it 404 when you click the link? or what?

The link doesn't seem to work. Can someone who has the file help?

Thanks
RK

The link doesn't work for me either. I tried in both Chromer and Explorer. It gives me error code 11004 -host not found.

The reason you cannot access this link is because it is on the IBM internal power 9 network which isn't accessible outside the IBM internal Network

Perhaps someone from the Jazz Server development team can make a suggestion for post this to the entire community? For now, I would like to suggest that for internal IBM members we provide this zip file via the Lotus Connections Community "RTC Guidelines, Tips and Templates" which can be accessed here
http://w3.ibm.com/connections/communities/service/html/communityview?communityUuid=0e3f904d-d4cc-4fe2-b179-7beac9276a7b . Just join the community and use the files sections to upload the zip file.
Contact me directly if you have questions.

As Tom suggested, I uploaded the zip file containing the Javadoc output to the Files section of the Lotus Connections community: RTC Guidelines, Tips and Templates (http://w3.ibm.com/connections/communities/service/html/communityview?communityUuid=0e3f904d-d4cc-4fe2-b179-7beac9276a7b
).

Disclaimer: I am not connected in any way to the RTC team - I am just someone currently checking out how I can use the API to use RTC more efficiently in my job. Also, this does not cover 100% of the source files - the script I used choked on a few of the files. But it probably does cover 95% or more of the API, and so far it's had all the information I've required.

Has anyone from either the development team or the community be successful at generating some for of useful Javadoc to help our users extend RTC?

I generated Javadoc from the RTC source files that I downloaded.

I now have a 50MB zip file of all the HTML files.

Any ideas on how to best share this with the other members of the forum?

Is there anywhere here I can upload the file to?
