Links to workitems in the notification emails are wrong

Glenn Poston (7194) | asked Apr 21 '10, 9:07 a.m.
I'm not sure when this problem began, but we just noticed that the links in the notification emails sent by RTC are wrong. They have a port number that is not supposed to be there. I'm sure we configured this somewhere along the way, but due to resent changes we need to take it out. I can't find where to change this config.

Thought I should give an example.

The link in the email is

https://multitool.raleigh.ibm.com:10319/jazz/resource/itemName/com.ibm.team.workitem.WorkItem/4315

when it should be

https://multitool.raleigh.ibm.com/jazz/resource/itemName/com.ibm.team.workitem.WorkItem/4315

permanent link

Did you properly configure the public URI from admin properties? This
value will be used in E-Mails for instance as the base URI.

I'm not sure if that fixed the issue or not. I get the correct link in my html based emails, but one of our users forwarded an email that he received (his was text only) that had the incorrect path.

I'm not sure if it makes a difference, but the email he received with the incorrect link was an approval notification.

btw: our public uri root was set to 'default.' I changed it to the correct value.
