private baselines possible?
Hi all,
is ist possible to create a Baseline which is private to the current user's Repo Workspace? I just noticed that once I create a baseline via "New -> Baseline" in the Pending Changes view it is not possible to cancel/discard the baseline and you are forced to deliver it to the stream. As far as I can remeber from a previous version of Jazz it was possible to make private baselines and you were not forced to deliver the to the stream. Is that still possible? Also, is it possible to remove / undo a baseline operation? Thanks and best regards, Torben |

Hi all, Yes, all baselines are private until they are delivered. I just noticed that once I create a baseline via "New - You aren't forced as much as encouraged. We don't make this easy, but I'd like to address this in 1.0. What you can do now is deliver all change-sets only by selecting them in the Pending Changes view and not selecting the baselines. Then replace your component with the component you just delivered to. This will effectively remove the baselines from your repo workspace. https://jazz.net/jazz/resource/itemName/WorkItem/22106 As far as I can remeber from a previous version of Jazz it was As I said above, you can remove it from your history but you can't delete it. Jean-Michel,
I can't seem to find a way to remove a baseline from my history... Is this something that changed over the last few months? |
You can't remove as much as replace it with another one.
If you history has a particular baseline you can go back by replacing the component with another one. Jean-Michel Jazz Source Control Team |
