You can do this, but you'll first have to migrate the 1.0.x template to
the 2.x format. This migration wasn't build into the 2.x release, but
there is a separate tool you can download the migrate your exported
template, available from the "All Downloads" tab of the RTC 2.0.0.2
release page:

The repository from which you are exporting the process template should be migrated to the version you will be importing the template into before you export the template. The reason for this is that the syntax of the process configuration has changed between RTC 1.0.x and 2.0.x. Running the migration updates the configuration syntax so that RTC 2.0.x can read it.
