PKI and Common Access Card Functionality

Robert Carter (42928589) | asked Jan 30 '08, 9:38 a.m.
Are there plans to have Jazz technology support PKI certificates? In
addition, will there be support for Common Access Card authentication? The
Department of Defense has these requirements and specifically since Jazz
technology is a web based technology, the PKI piece is very important.

JAZZ DEVELOPER
These are not technologies we have looked at yet. However, Jazz really depends on the application server to implement authentication. So if WebSphere or Tomcat can be configured to authenticate using these mechanisms, then they should be able to host a secure Jazz repository.

This might be an interesting article...
