Global test schedule dates across multiple test plans in RQM

Sara Haggar (633) | asked Jan 29 '10, 1:03 p.m.
Is there any way I can define test milestones for a release and have them automatically apply to multiple test plans?

That is, suppose I have 20 line items in a release, and each one has its own test plan. All the line items are being done on the same iteration schedule. Rather than entering the iteration dates into 20 different test plans, I'd like to be able to enter them in one place that applies to all line items across the release.

Is there any way to do this? Thank you,

Maybe not the optimal solution for you but in 2.0.1 you can create child test plans which will inherit the details from the parent test plan. So if you have entered Test milestones/iteration dates in the parent test plan, the child test plans will also be populated with them.
