Removed or Deleted a SCM Component, Unable to create the component with the same name.
Hi Team,
A user has created a component and removed it from the some Stream, then later
User is trying to add the same component to the another Stream, but the component is not visible now and trying to create the component with same name, it is not allowing due to duplicate component issue.
Where can we find all the created components ? Even if the component is removed from the Stream does the traces it exists in the stream. like the UUID of the component is stored somewhere ?
User needs to add the component with same name, but RTC is disallowing it.
Please assist. Thanks.

Deleting a component from a stream does not delete the component. So the component is still there. Why would you want to delete the component? Deleting a component is not supported (afaik). What you can do, is to rename it and change the owner to some user to keep them and then make it private to get them out of the way.

Hi Ralph, thanks for your reply.
As an Admin, i searched in the source control section, but the component is not visible still.
Also unable to create to component with the required name.
Could you please suggest any other alternatives for finding this component.
Thanks.

You need to have the JazzAdmin repository role, otherwise you have to ask the owner of the component - the person that created it to look it up and make it public visible and/or rename it.
