How does one install an iFix for the Build System Toolkit?

 We were asked by IBM to install iFix008 for our Build System Toolkit currently running at version 6.0.6.1. Long story which I'll skip the details.  My fquestion would be where does one find iFixes for the Build System Toolkit?  Is it part of the wider release of CLM which bundles iFixes for Eclipse, Visual Studio, etc..  I read through various releases for CLM and see no mention of the Build System Tookit.  It's a bit of mystery for me unless someone can share their experience.

this is a community. If you are working with support, ask them, if you are in doubt. So if you don't know what to download in a support case, ask support for directions.

As far as I am aware, the iFixes always contain a readme and the readme explains how to install the iFix. If the iFix contains fixes for the Build System Toolkit, I would assume that the readme would mention how to install it.

As far as I know, there is no other mechanism to ship fixes, so the iFix should contain information about how to install it and the files to support this. I am not aware of a different mechanism to ship updates to the EWM Clients.

As an example, I downloaded ELM_702_iFix018 from the All downloads page. It includes the ELM_server_patch, the ewm_vsclient, the ewm_winshellclient, and more. The last two are patches for clients. I would assume you find something for the BuildsystemToolkit in the patch you are suggested to download.

Thank you for your feedback.  I had done exactly what you suggested before posting this question.  Unfortunately, I was not able to find the information I was looking for.  I'll push further with IBM support.  Glad to see you're still part of this forum.

I don't recall whether fixes to the Build Toolkit are included in the CLM iFix. I hope so.
