RPE report fails with CRJAZ0368E when deployed in RQM

Bharath Rao (915239) | asked Sep 27 '22, 5:28 a.m.

RPE report template (.dta) on Test artifact fails with the following message in the WebUI when deployed in RQM Reports section.

CRJAZ0368E A database query could not run on the server.\n stmt = select distinct t1.ITEM_ID, t1.STATE_ID from REPORTS.STORAGE_NODE t1 where ((t1.TYPE_COL = ?) and (t1.KEY_COL = ?))

In the console log, we notice the below error:

data: "{\"nestedError\":{\"nestedError\":{\"nestedError\":{\"nestedError\":{\"errorClass\":\"com.ibm.db2.jcc.am.SqlDataException\",\"errorMessage\":\"DB2 SQL Error: SQLCODE=-302, SQLSTATE=22001, SQLERRMC=null, DRIVER=4.21.29\",\"errorCode\":null},\"errorClass\":\"com.ibm.team.repository.common.InternalRepositoryException\",\"errorMessage\":\"CRJAZ0368E A database query could not run on the server.\n stmt = select distinct t1.ITEM_ID, t1.STATE_ID from REPORTS.STORAGE_NODE t1 where ((t1.TYPE_COL = ?) and (t1.KEY_COL = ?))\",\"errorCode\":null},\"errorClass\":\"com.ibm.team.repository.common.TeamRepositoryException\",\"errorMessage\":\"CRJAZ0368E A database query could not run on the server.\n stmt = select distinct t1.ITEM_ID, t1.STATE_ID from REPORTS.STORAGE_NODE t1 where ((t1.TYPE_COL = ?) and (t1.KEY_COL = ?))\",\"errorCode\":null},\"errorClass\":\"com.ibm.team.repository.common.TeamRepositoryException\",\"errorMessage\":\"CRJAZ0368E A database query could not run on the server.\n stmt = select distinct t1.ITEM_ID, t1.STATE_ID from REPORTS.STORAGE_NODE t1 where ((t1.TYPE_COL = ?) and (t1.KEY_COL = ?))\",\"errorCode\":null},\"errorClass\":\"com.ibm.team.repository.common.TeamRepositoryException\",\"errorMessage\":\"CRJAZ0368E A database query could not run on the server.\n stmt = select distinct t1.ITEM_ID, t1.STATE_ID from REPORTS.STORAGE_NODE t1 where ((t1.TYPE_COL = ?) and (t1.KEY_COL = ?))\",\"errorCode\":400}"

How to address it?

The cause of the issue is unknown at this point. But, it appears to be an issue with the template as the following steps seem to have addressed the problem:

a) In the Document Studio, import the template.
b) Edit any of the section in the template to remove and re-add the content.
c) Save the template as new and re-deploy in RQM.
