Moving QM data from IBM Cloud to Local DB2 Database

manoj kumar (112) | asked Mar 02 '22, 12:32 a.m.

 HI Everyone,

I want to move the RQM data from IBM cloud Instance to on premises db2 database server(Local database).
I Have tried using Excel import utility, but i could not get all the data.
Also gone through RQM data Copy utility  https://jazz.net/wiki/bin/view/Main/RQMCopyUtility.

Any suggestions on how to import entire QM data (Test plans, test cases, test scripts, test suites, test case execution records and test suite results) from one server to other server?

Regards
Manoj Kumar S G

Please get in contact with IBM support/services. There are different approaches, dependent on what you want to do.

One is to do a server rename and then a repotools export plus a repotools import. This is needed if you can't use a backup of the databases. Please note that this is typically done for the whole Jazz system with multiple servers and databases.

The other export/import mechanisms are not lossless.
