RTC compatibility for Visual Studio 2022

 Hi,


I would like to know the compatibility of RTC 6.0.6.1 or later versions with Visual studio 2022. The developer community planning to use the Visual studio 2022 for new projects and would like to know from IBM on the road map for the RTC plugin availability.

CLM 6061 is out of support now. Even if Enhancement is delivered it will be delivered for latest ELM 702SR1 & 703. In that case, you might still consider using the new plugin with older version of CLM 6061.

RTC PlugIn for VS, checks the version of VS before installing & PlugIn will be fail to install in VS 2022.

Under normal circumstances, ELM enhancements are only implemented in the next release. Currently, that would be 7.0.3. Occasionally, if functionality is sufficiently important and satisfies technical criteria for backports, product management may agree that it should be backported to earlier releases, such as 7.0.2. However, these are usually exceptional cases. CLM 6.0.6.1 went end of service 2022-10-31, and it is very unlikely any further work, such as iFixes, will be produced for such end of service releases. I highly recommend that you upgrade to 7.0.2 - the latest supported release.

Support for Visual Studio 2022 for EWM 7.0.2 is available as part of 7.0.2 IBM ELM iFix019 and is available for download on Fix Central and jazz.net.

 Hi Vinay,

There is no information about Visual Studio 2022 compatibility, but with the Latest version of ELM 702. Visual Studio 2019 and Future packs are supported. Please refer below link
