ReqIF Import Error

Anusha Banad (194) | asked Jun 04 '21, 1:29 a.m.
We are exporting a ReqIF file from ERM DN(v 7.0.2) from Server1 and importing the ReqIF package to the same version of ERM-DN to Server2.

The downloaded ReqIF package (with file size 21.8 MB) from Server1 has only one module ( with more than 2000 Artifacts). While importing the ReqIF to Server2, it is throwing error as
"Could not parse ReqIF Package: BadRequestException: Could not find a valid ReqIF file in uploaded file.Exception Error: No reqif packages found"

The RM projects are GC enabled. Meanwhile we were able to export smaller ReqIF from server 1 and import the same to server 2 without any issue, but when we have a more number of modules bundled in a single ReqIF file or if a single module in the ReqIF file is large (in our case more than 2000 artifacts) we are facing the error while importing the requirements to Server 2.

Please let me know if anyone else is facing this issue or provide a solution so that ReqIF importing happens without any problem.

Regards,
Anusha Banad

Have you checked rm.log to see if there is any other information relevant to this.
I wonder whether disk space on the server is an issue since size seems to be a factor.
You may need to raise a ticket with IBM Technical support.
