Sorry, the question is so broad and unspecific, that the answer has to be yes. Don't expect me to answer any more specific.

Some hints:

REST equals OSLC is false.
OCLS APIs are documented by the OSLC group https://www.oasis-open.org/committees/tc_home.php?wg_abbrev=oslc-core
Public REST services (e.g. reportable REST) are documented in the documentation which usually refers to the TWiki. The TWiki should contain the latest documentation.
Private REST APIs are used and are neither documented, nor supported. Users have analyzed them and use them on their own risk.
The API Landing Page https://jazz.net/wiki/bin/view/Deployment/CLMProductAPILanding is the best place to start. Note that it is not necessarily comprehensive.

What are those changes and whre can I find them?

Currently I am using localhost for testing VBA(REST/OSLC APIs for clm 6) compatibility with clm 7.

Localhost accepts those APIs.

Is this right way to check compatibility between REST Apis for clm 6 and clm 7
